A more mature and challenging class at 8pm with Master Walker. For details of how to train online go to the events page
Sadly due to the uncertain weather there is no Bong Class today.
We a slithering into this week with a challenge around Bassai. Even though you may not know the form there is much in Bassai that can be found in the Pyung Ahn Hyung and Kee Cho Hyung which you learn from White to Green Stripe.
Bassai is represented by the Cobra. You can draw or make your Cobra and send a picture to us on enquiries@martialartsforlife.co.uk and we will use it online this week and post them to our Facebook pages. If you are in our WhatsApp group then lets see your art work there.
Challenge time
Every week we set a range of fun challenges. Master Mckenna has asked everyone to work their phones, laptops and tablets to make sure that when they come to class they can show themselves from head to foot. Record yourself and see what you record. Change the lighting maybe change the setting if possible so the instructor can see you.
Master Crocker’s Challenge is to draw the first animal from the Pyung Ahn Hyungs which is a Turtle. You can post it on our Facebook page, onto the WhatsApp group if you are there or send it to enquiries@martialartsforlife.co.uk.
Mr Owen has set a challenge to do 10 punches with a handkercheif as fast as you can. Let it go each time and catch it again before it falls.
Seniors we are still looking for bong form interpretations of non bong forms.
Jang Bong - Korean long stick - or Bo in Japanese - Staff in English
(Double ended Light sabre in Jedi!)
This class will always be weather dependent because we want you to train safely outside. Please be aware of your surroundings and if you train with a sister, brother mum or dad you may, if you have one, have to use a separate device and be away from them.
If you do not have a bong a broom handle will do. Ideally the bong should be the same height as you.
We will update this page if there are any changes to this particular class.
