Yorkshire 2019 Para-Cycling International and the UCI World Road Championship 21st - 29th September 2019

If you have been anywhere near Harrogate in the past few weeks you will have seen the preparations have started for the biggest cycling event in the world.

Organisers are preparing for up to a quarter of a million spectators per day on the final three days of the event.

A total figure of more than one million visitors is predicted in Harrogate.

Classes we will have to suspend

Monday 23rd Pannal School (cancelled by the school - reflected in termly cost)
Tuesday 24th Highfield School (Cancelled by the school)

Thursday 26th Pannal Kids
Thursday 26th Burton Leonard School
Friday 27th Boroughbridge, Methodist Church

On the 21st the Para-Cycling passes through Wetherby, Spofforth and into Knaresborough and roads are closing late morning. It might be possible to run both classes at Calcutt and Collingham, but we will only run them if we have enough commitment from students.

Links to road closures. Please consider what is happening on that day and what alternative routes are available / congested.

The majority of classes are likely to be unaffected, although travelling times will be. If we have to suspend any other classes we will circulate this information and post it on the website.

GSAL and Rose Court are unaffected.

If your class is suspended please try and attend another class.
